What You Need To Know
From Saturday, October 18, through the early morning hours of Monday, October 20, UDOT will perform construction on the I-215 Bridge over North Temple. This construction will block UTA TRAX Green Line trains between the Airport Station and North Temple Bridge/Guadalupe Station.
A bus bridge will be in effect to shuttle riders between North Temple Bridge/Guadalupe and Airport stations.
- The bus bridge will be located in the bus bay area at the north end of the North Temple FrontRunner platform.
- If you are coming from a Green Line train, take the stairs or elevator down to access the bus bay.
- If you are transferring from FrontRunner, stay on the platform.
- Plan for delays of 30-45 minutes, depending on your starting and ending stations.
- To avoid delays, riders are encouraged to board TRAX after the affected area.

For Green Line riders traveling to or from the airport:
- Exit the train at North Temple Bridge/Guadalupe Station and board the bus bridge to continue to the airport.
- Board the bus bridge at Airport Station and transfer to the Green Line at North Temple Bridge/Guadalupe Station.
Regular TRAX service will resume on Monday, October 20.
What To Expect
- Construction activity will continue 24 hours a day throughout the weekend.
- Nearby residents and businesses may notice nighttime noise, lighting, dust, and vibration.
Why This Is Happening
This construction is part of the I-215 West Improved Project to reconstruct a large portion of I-215 West. Construction activities are currently underway beneath the North Temple Bridge to prepare the structure for demolition and future repaving. As a result, this work will impact the TRAX Green Line, which runs directly below the bridge.
